Danielle Rueger is a Cleveland-based artist, author, illustrator, and Career Services professional. When not assisting students in the Career Center at Baldwin Wallace University, she can usually be found playing tennis, spending time with friends and family, chasing after her dog and cat, or working on her creative endeavors, which includes writing and illustrating children's books like The Maskless Raccoon.
Danielle began writing The Maskless Raccoon during her senior year of college - a time of uncertainty when Danielle had to constantly remind herself of her mother’s favorite saying - everything happens for a reason. Danielle had this mantra in mind when she stumbled upon an albino raccoon in the woods near her parents’ home. She quickly realized that a maskless raccoon might be a way to share the message that some things, while seemingly negative, are happening for a reason.
